Obama Logic
This article from New York Magazine is apparently about two months old, but it's still a worthwhile look into the mind of the U.S. Senator from Illinois.
One quotation, in particular, jumped out at me, from the fifth page of the online version of the article ...
“To me, the issue is not are you centrist or are you liberal,” he says. “The issue to me is, Is what you’re proposing going to work? Can you build a working coalition to make the lives of people better? And if it can work, you should support it whether it’s centrist, conservative, or liberal.”
We can only hope that Senator Obama's words are reflective of what he actually believes.
(Andrew Sullivan links to this same article, today, for an entirely different reason.)

A refreshing change from everyone on both sides who ask, is this conserative or liberal and how can I bash my opponents with it.
