Please Welcome: Patrick Edaburn
Our seventh contributor is now on board, Patrick Edaburn, a.k.a., "Creative Center," which doubles as the name of his blog.
Visit that space if you want a sampling of the type of thoughts and perspective Patrick will bring to our corner of the 'sphere. And no, "Creative Center" is not a site about general creativity. Rather, it's about creative centrist approaches to our shared socio-political challenges.
Like Dennis and I, Patrick is a registered Republican, one who is "greatly dismayed by the increasing influence of the hard right." He is also "equally distressed ... by the influence of the hard left on the Democrats."
In short, philosophically, I think he'll fit in quite well here. He also brings another intriguing element to the mix, which I don't think any of our other contributors can claim, namely: He's an attorney.
Please withhold the lawyer jokes and join me in welcoming Patrick to the fold.
